March 23, 2020

Well, life came at us fast, didn't it? Our last day of physical school together was (fittingly) on Friday, March 13, 2020. The photo below depicts what the library media center looked like that day. We were scrambling to ensure every student left with a working Chromebook and charger. Special thanks to eighth grader Grant Culton (in blue below) who calmly navigated everyone through the chaos.

Now we have been home on our Spring Break and will start virtual school on Wednesday. I'm sure most of you are excited to see your friends and teachers and get back into a routine!

You should read this book not only because Jenn Bishop is a great writer and human, but because it is the first book you'll read that has a Del's lemonade featured within. That's right: Jenn may not live in RI but she has spent enough time here with family to appreciate our unofficial state beverage!
