April 28, 2019

Your last day to place ILL HOLDS is this Friday, May 3.

I am teaming up with Miss Lisa at the Barrington Public Library once again to create an incredible list of summer reading recommendations. I create this list based on "Best Of" lists as well as the titles I've been excited about lately.  Miss Lisa makes sure they have the titles for our readers at the public library. The first two books this week are some summer recommendations. However, you may want to read them now!

I just took this out of the public library and it sounds pretty amazing for fantasy fans.
And good news: according to Goodreads this is the first in a series. The opening quote hooked me:

"It is a fact that all who have lived have lived through some loss and heartache. Yes, there is happiness, but everyone alive experiences sadness at one time or another. If you ache you are not unusual - friends disappoint, betrayal is real, and there is always the possibility of losing someone dear. It is worrisome to begin a story beneath shades of shadow and gloom but it is wise to remember that despite all the worry there is magic afoot."

Wizard for Hire (Wizard for Hire #1), (2018)
